Liberalism vs. Conservatism

Last two decades the “street smart” American Republicans started belittling Liberalism and with their sleazy way, that comes natural to them, created “L” word for the liberals to make it stick. Unfortunately the Liberals did not fight back. That made, in the mind of naïve people, Conservatism a good thing and Liberalism bad.

Let’s set the record straight; Conservatism means statuesque, stagnation, against science, technology, and innovating thinking. Take a look at the present day real conservatives; Amish community. Even Amish are not pure conservatives, the cave man is.

In contrast Liberalism means; change, innovation and progress by “outside of the box” thinking and consequently making a better life for all mankind. The first person who invented the first stone tool, over two million years ago, was a liberal, the person who invented the wheel was a liberal, so was Pasture, Fleming, Steve Job, and Einstein.

The founding fathers of the United States that devised such a great constitution were liberals. Imagine if Thomas Jefferson was living today and would suggest “separation of church and state” what a problem he would encounter with people like S. Palin, Rush Limbow, Glen Beck, Akins, Ryan, and thousands of more Republican conservatives. He could never make it.
